Hello Team, I have started using Review Schema block in my blog posts. The design / look & feel is classy. I like it.

However, when I try to test my blog/post URL in “Rich Results Test Tool by Google” then it shows me error for two parameters – Availability and Aggregate Rating. Please suggest how to add these parameters. Also, may be because of this, GoogleBot Smartphone is being restricted by robots.txt. I am not that technical so I am assuming this might be the root cause. Please suggest how to fix these issues. Thanks.

Hi @Singh ! The aggregateRating value in Review schema is intended to be used when multiple reviews for the same item exist, which cannot be done with our Review block.

We have a way for inputting the availability. However, it somehow doesn’t show up in the generated JSON-LD code for some reason. We’ll be working on a fix for it.

You may still use the Review schema even without those two values. Google will give you warning messages, but the schema code will still work. Error messages from Google’s Rich Reults Test tools are the messages that you should worry about, since the code won’t work at all if you get those messages.

Not so sure about the robots.txt issue, but it could be rewritten so that Googlebot Smartphone won’t be restricted.
