FAQ Schema Error: A value for the mainEntity field is required
-
I used these instructions on the Ultimate Blocks site to create an FAQ section on a blog post. The section looks great, but the Google structured data testing tool is showing an error:
@type FAQPage
mainEntity A value for the mainEntity field is required.
I don’t know if I can share the URL to the post that’s getting the error, but I will if you need it.
How can I fix this error?

Hi @mbl ! Thanks for letting us know. We’re able to reproduce your issue in the current version of the plugin. So far, it affects only newly-inserted instances of the content toggle block.
To fix this, you can either wait for the release of the next version, which will contain a fix for this issue, or revert to the previous version (version 2.4.2, which you can download from here), which doesn’t have this issue. Afterwards, you’ll have to copy the contents of the current content toggle block, delete it, and recreate it using whatever version you use.
If you decide to revert to the previous version to fix the content toggle issue, you can update to the current version after fixing all content toggle block instances to regain access to the latest features. Waiting for the latest version to come out ensures that you won’t have to switch back and forth between different versions, though.
