Content filter limit or a bug?
-
Hi
I have installed Ultimate Blocks exclusively to use the content filter function.
Unfortunately it seems that it does not show content blocks if I add more than one filter from one category to the same content block.
Is it a bug that you will be able to fix in the near future or is it just how it is supposed to be?
See the example on my testsite: https://www.hornslet-guiden.dk/ultimate-blocks-test/
In the backend Restaurant 1 has filter ‘Pizza’, Restaurant 2 has ‘burger’ and ‘pizza’, Restaurant 3 has ‘salad’.
When you select the filter pizza or salad restaurant 1 and 3 shows up as they should, but restaurant 2 does not show up for either pizza or burger.
The test is made on the above online website and on a localhost site with another theme and a diverse number of categories+filters. Same result – when more than one filter from the same category is added, they get excluded from the filtered results.
I look forward hearing from you
Best regards
Carsten

Hi @CO-SEO ! Upon checking, I noticed that the filter matching option is set to “Match all”, meaning that all tags added to a certain panel would have to be selected before the panel would appear. If, in your page, select both the burger and pizza food types, restaurant 2 would appear. Otherwise, it doesn’t show up.
To ensure that a panel with multiple tags from the same tag group would appear when at least one of the added tags are selected, go to the panel visibility dropdown in the Inspector panel and select “Match any filter”.
Please let us know how it goes.
